The Annual UP Forum
UP27
Catalytic Gathering for African Transformation
About the Forum
Leaders Building the Future of Africa
UP27 is a catalytic gathering of leaders, innovators, and change-makers committed to transforming Africa through synergistic ecosystems rooted in agricultural value chains. It will be a space where sectors like finance, education, faith, media, and healthcare intersect — designing national strategies that birth transformation hubs across the continent.
3 Working Days
What We'll Be Doing
- 1Cast vision for how value chains and ecosystem collaboration can unlock the potential of Africa's communities.
- 2Dive deep into sector-specific working groups — Agriculture, Next Generation, Finance, and Community Transformation.
- 3Strategically map new and existing transformation hubs, identifying roadmaps, partnerships, and financing structures.
- 4Connect in prayer, worship, and collaboration — linking hearts and hands across the continent.
- 5Engage in keynote sessions, topical discussions on innovation and youth empowerment, and transformative networking.

FAQ
Common Questions
What if I can't attend?+
Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can no longer attend, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague — email admin@theupmovement.org with your registration email and your colleague's name, email, and organisation, and we'll move the seat into their name.
Is UP27 open to anyone?+
Seats are limited. UP27 is for leaders who have been invited or whose application has been accepted. If you haven't received an invitation, contact The UP Movement to apply.
How does ticket pricing work?+
Seats are limited and sold in four tiers, in order: Early Bird $900 (10 seats, through Dec 31, 2026), Regular $1,100 (30 seats, through Apr 30, 2027), Last Minute $1,300 (10 seats, through May 8, 2027) and At the Door $1,500 (10 seats, through May 11, 2027). A tier closes when its seats sell out or its window ends, whichever comes first — so register early for the best price. A 3% processing fee is added to the ticket price at checkout.
Is there an invitation pack I can share?+
Yes — download the UP27 Invitation Pack (PDF). It covers why the forum exists, how the three days work, the sectors and hubs, and who should come. Feel free to pass it on to leaders you think should be in the room.
What does my ticket include?+
All forum sessions and core working groups, plus all lunches, dinners, teas, and refreshments throughout the forum. Accommodation and transport are booked separately — see the Venue section for the UP discount at the Radisson Blu.
Can I register several people from my organisation?+
Yes — choose up to 10 tickets in a single registration. For larger delegations, contact The UP Movement.
I'm paying from outside the United States. Will my card work?+
Yes. Payment is taken in US dollars through Stripe, which accepts most international credit and debit cards. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion fee.
What happens after I register?+
You'll receive a receipt and invoice by email right away, with a link to complete your delegate profile: your job title for your name tag, a short bio for the Delegate Database, and an optional WhatsApp number for the UP Forum Community. If you'd like your assistant to receive the invoice and forum details, you can add their email there too.
Is any of my payment tax-deductible?+
Your ticket and processing fee pay for admission to the forum and are not tax-deductible. An optional tip or Sponsor a Future Leader gift is a charitable contribution to GiveSendGo Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 88-3776392), and may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Your receipt shows the deductible amount.
What is the tip for?+
The tip is optional. It lets you partner with The UP Movement and help keep the movement building beyond the forum.
What is Sponsor a Future Leader?+
An optional gift on top of your ticket that covers part or all of the registration for an emerging leader who could not otherwise attend.
