As a charitable crowdfunding platform, GiveSendGo.com aims to create more ways to encourage generosity and make a significant impact in people’s lives. In March 2022, GiveSendGo.com partnered with Pillar Ministries, a non-profit organization, to collaborate in charitable efforts. This partnership led to the formation of GiveSendGo Charities, which was urgently needed to raise funds for people displaced by the war in Ukraine.
The first fundraising campaign of GiveSendGo Charities was for Ukraine Relief, which raised $975. The funds were given to Mission Possible, which created care packs with the main essentials for people in need. This successful campaign paved the way for future relief efforts.
The second campaign was launched in response to the tornados that hit Austin, Texas, at the end of March. We raised $3629, which was given to the Austin Relief Network to aid in rebuilding efforts.
In May, GiveSendGo Charities launched the Uvalde Care Campaign, which raised $7242 for the San Antonio Area Foundation. This campaign helped with the continued costs and new school building after a school shooting.
In August, GiveSendGo Charities received its own domestic nonprofit status, but continued to work with Pillar Ministries until the end of the year. The organization launched its fourth campaign in response to the devastating flooding in Kentucky. The Kentucky Flood Relief Campaign collected and distributed $545 to Appalachia Reach Out, an organization that was assisting with the long-term care of affected communities.
GiveSendGo Charities launched its fifth campaign in October, the Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. The campaign raised and distributed $410 to campaigns on GiveSendGo.com that were in need of funding related to the disaster.
GiveSendGo Charities also held a Christmas Dinner Fund, raising $300 for families in need of food assistance. The funds were donated to Lead4Life, which distributed them to the families they serve.
Along with those care and relief funds, GiveSendGo Charities also held three unique funds. The first was the Giving Tuesday campaign, where donors could give to the campaign and the funds were distributed to qualifying campaigns on GiveSendGo.com for individuals in need of restorative funds. The second was the Pro-Fund, which raised $5000 to help families seeking to adopt. The third was the Animal Care & Rescue Cause, which raised $5000 to be distributed to qualifying campaigns.
GiveSendGo Charities also hosted the Love Thy Neighbor Campaign. This campaign raised $45000, dedicating larger grants to individuals whose recent losses drastically challenged their livelihood. Two major grants were given out from that campaign, one to Hope Williams whose house was destroyed in a fire, and the other to Karen Pierson, whose husband passed away from COVID-19, and she was found with no insurance. The organization is also partnering with multiple organizations to further their charitable endeavors.
